I must admit I had to give Dick props last night.  First for lasting almost 8 hours on that carrot thingy and second for his overall game play.  Say what you want, he did his thang.

Yeah, that poor man looked so whooped from standing on that thing for 8 hours. I know I couldn't have done it. Even when I was 20, lol.

 

He's a hog.  

I got teary eyes when Daniele was telling him how proud she was and that it was ok if he couldn't do it and that she loved him. Where did that Daniele come from? lol

OMG so did I, Lita.  I just kept saying awwwww awwwwww and the look on his face OMG it's giving me chills right now.

Yep. That was beyond sweet, imo.

 

Anyone that's had a contentious relationship with a father would understand just how much that meant.

 

I re-watched the epi late last night (lol, I have this whole past week saved on DVR and have been enjoying the repeats) and I realized that did bring tears to my eyes - when he was still standing up there, whooped to shit, and Daniele is there encouraging him, then telling him it's ok to quit, and the look on his face! OMG

 

Even afterwards, when they did the DR, he looked SO exhausted! And then when he told Julie that Daniele was the reason he stayed up there as long as he did....

 

Man!
