Okay this is an old one, but for some reason I missed reading it and I'm a huge fan!  A man brought it in, he was getting rid of a bunch of books.  It's really good, and written in true King style.

Ok, if you read that one then you HAVE to, I mean you REALLY have to read The Regulators by 'Richard Bachman'. These two books are intertwined and they go hand in hand. Both are VERY good.

Yes, Regulators is a unique companion piece to Desperation.  I really enjoyed both of them alot!!!

Haven't seen this one in the stores either.  I'll look for it.   Thanks Conrad!

I read it 6 or 7 years ago, and really liked it.  But in the meantime I'd read some King where he was just flat and Desperation seemed to be stronger than some of the things that followed it.  Plus, I loved how The Regulators tied to Desperation.

Ames,

You hated it? Try reading The Regulators first and then Desperation, see how you like the way the two books tie into each other.

Desperation and Regulators are two of my favorite Stephen King books.

I also liked Dark Half, Cell, (am currently reading and enjoying) Duma Key, and Needful Things.
