Alisha - not as good as lst week. Sarah - pretty good, but there's something "old" looking about her. Eva - really good. Ashley and Ashley - both are great! Steffi - surprisingly good. Kati - not bad. Nancy - really good! Alyssa - ridiculous! So my favourite picks are both Ashleys and Nancy. |

My Rankings: Loved it Best Technical skills ... loved that she sang a song usually sung by guys Love the sound of her voice suprisingly cool good typical HUGE GAP snnooozee mediocre ... and is it just me or does she look weird for her .... 2 strikes your out.... last week and this week she sucked If owls could sing they would sound like Nancy ... god AWFUL sound |

Girls:
1. Sarah (9/10) - Great voice, got some star moments in there. Trickled by the falsetto high note but that's ok. This was a good performance, one that I was not expecting because of the piano arrangement.
2. Alisha (8.5/10) - There was some awesome notes in her lower register. Her enunciation of some words disturbs me and she hasn't made that emotional connection with me but she's a friggin' powerhouse. Yeah, she sped the song up but it was still a good performance.(And she didn't deserve to be voted off. ASSHOLES!)
3. Eva (8.5/10) - Very lovely tone and I love the ooh's and ah's she did throughout the song. She also sped up her track but all in all, this was a very good performance as well.
4. Steffi (8/10) - This worked well. She picked a good song for her voice. Some iffy notes on the powernotes but it was a welcome change from last week. I love the jazzy influence on her endings.
5. Nancy (7.5/10) - Another good performance. Her nasal vocals is somewhat appealing to me. No Zack, basically calling people stupid for recognizing that she has a nasal voice is imprudent. She changed the look and feel of the song. Her "Nancy-style" moves, however, leave something to be desired.
6. Ashley Coulter (7/10) - A good, loungy performance. She needs to do a ballad quick. I haven't really seen any improvement from her audition till now. She's just been the same.
7. Alyssa (6.5/10) - I have no idea what the fuss is about this performance. It was good and a major step-up from last week's soul-sucking muck that she presented to us. She hit some great notes in the song and while the song didn't work with the piano, she did overcome that well, IMO.
8. Ashley Coles (6/10) - This was not bad either. She restrained herself from her big powernotes and she, in turn, gave a good performance. The song itself isn't great but with what she did with it, it was good enough.
9. Kati (2/10) - The only clunker. She freaking sucked the life out of this song. And she was sharp on 'dance'. Honey, you can't sing the powernotes like Alisha. Don't even try. Ugh, I can't stand her vibrato. It just bugs! Not to mention, she performed it boringly. |
