Ok so I have an interview today at noon. THANK GOD. It is a huge step down from my job at corp headquarters, BUT since my company was bought out, I now have  week left of employment so I will take this if I get it. It is at a gym. American Family, and the posting is for front desk admin support and reception. So I have two questions.

I have really long hair, its usually out of control curly, but I have it very straight right now. should I tie it back, or is very long but very kempt ok for an interview?

Second and the most important question, I was reading online to ALWAYS ask questions from a potential employer, well this is a gym...working reception...what the hell do I ask? can anyone give me any good questions

ok I lied I have one more, they always ask what is a weakness you have, can anyone give me one? I dont want to sound corny and say something like, my weakness is, always working too many hours. what is a good one.

Bekka, to be on the "safe" side, I would tie the hair back for a nice neat appearance.
For weakness, you could say:  "probably I have a hard time saying "no"".

Some sample questions (I got these off an "employer" site): - sorry about the format:

What are the company's strengths and weaknesses compared to its competition?

  1. What is the company's policy on providing seminars, workshops, and training so employees can keep up their skills or acquire new ones?

the ones I use for weakness, that are true are:

Miss/work into lunch
To detailed/anal.
Do not leave right at closing time.

Questions to ask them can be more about the role you are applying for. What are the hours, what do you expect, what other duties are included that was not listed in the ad. Who to respond to.

You can also ask about the company. How long have they been around or how long has the people interviewing you been around. What is the cliental/how many clients. How many people work for the company.
