we actually had a deal in place fr a while but couldnt announce it until the us announced theirs

anyway, so the domestic big 2 of 3 get $14Bil up front, with an additional $3Bil likely at a later date from their government, and then Canada gives $4Bil too---now all this is potentially very good news, but if the labor agreements and pension deals don't get corrected for the former and eliminated for the latter, and management gets to stay, well then it's a waste.
 
So anyway, we appreciate canadians giving nearly one-third of what we did to our automakers, ah ha
