Might be an idea to hurry up on this if it hasn't already been done.

 

Why isn't it an option to just click the 'migrate to multiply' button and do that as well?

 

 

From what I was told the click to migrate to multiply button was clicked yesterday but possibly its still migrating. 

FYI, the migration is in process.  Smig had to remove the seperators in the side board because it hindered the side boards from being migrated.  She has requested a remigration.  Just so you all know.  She had over 500 pages from the original migration, the first two years in the original migration.

The migration was complete yesterday, however we're missing all the sideboards and the first year or so of posts, so I've requested a re-migration.

 

The instruction to migrate did NOT include this little caveat that one of their people just advised me on -- you have to delete all separators from the sideboard area or it won't read them.

 

So I've done that (also, had to "un-hide" all the hidden boards as well) and have requested the re-migration. Hopefully it'll work correctly this time.

 

FYI, you can't bump a thread there. All threads are listed according to the date they originated. The only suggestion I can think of is to create a bookmark - once you finally find the thread you like to revisit - and use that.

 

Also, I believe you can create additional tags for any thread, so you can always narrow it down that way (I need to play around with that a bit to make sure - just cuz they say something (such as all members will automatically be sent an email notifying them of the migration, which clearly has NOT happened), doesn't make it so).

 

But like with Avi's Ghostbusters thread (which is on like page 555 there, it was started so long ago), if I can add a tag other than "general" to it, like "ghost", then it should be easier to find.
