Anyway, I learned a few things I did not know: FDR planned D-Day there; it was said to be one of Winston Churchill's favorite places because a certain, um, tea room I believe it was, offered 270-degree view of the river; and, the whole reason that Quebec is part of Canada is because the British took the 20 minutes required to defeat the french in a small battle for ownership of it, lmao. |
