Yeh smig we were one of the best mortgage title companies in the industry, first title was done in 1800 something :) it has made through recessions before, and this guy came on board a few years ago, decided to put lots of our money in these companies that sucked our money dry so when the mortgage crisis hit we went under, and were purchased. If he never did these ventures which the board urged him not to do, we would have been fine. Now right now we have laid off thousands, and only about 200 are left for transition team. Luckily, I am one of them, but only until June. It just burns me up that it happened. I really liked this place.

 

Yep torty from Tampa, dad got transferred to VA beach when I was in the 9th grade. I was at private school through most of my middle school days, but in elementary I was in public. Loved the area, visited last year because some of my fam still lives there. I am used to VA life now, so it is a different environment that I am accustom. I wouldnt be opposed to be transferring back like I said with the right money because I do like that I have fam there, and roots, but, they aren't coming up with the bank for really anybody. Most people they have offered to go to FL are VP level and above. I am not one of those :)
