Ok... I'm starting to exercise regularly, in addition to the physical therapy. For instance, last Friday, I worked out in the pool for an hour in pt, then another (gentle) hour with my sister...
Since last spring, I have lost at least 30 pounds. (Don't know what my highest weight was...) So I've lost about 15 from my first post. The bathing suit I bought last year is loose, and I've had to make adjustments/sew it in order for it to fit. Also, the pants I bought then, and for physical therapy prior to that, are very loose in the legs. Yay. lol
I'm starting to try to lose weight now... Still having to remind myself to eat most days, and that's the trickiest part right now - to eat three meals and at least one snack. (Unless I binge, but then I don't eat thousands and thousands of calories anymore - more like eating a day's worth in a sitting... but my binges are becoming rarer, which is good.) I've changed psychiatrists, and will ask him if he can point me to anyone to help with my binge eating disorder, if that's what it actually is... (was bulemic for a while, then exercise anorexic, then compulsively ate, then just didn't eat anymore, so my metabolism slowed way down...) The other psychiatrist, and the counselor, had no idea who to send me to in order to help me - some skillz they had, right? blech. lol
