Does this really help, in your opinion... like, if you know you have to write down everything you eat, will you choose healthier options?

I think so, but I also think it's an individual thing maybe.

I tried that method many years back and just having to read all the crap I was putting into my body made me curb that, lol. Which is why I prefer no list.

LOL, what did I have yesterday?

Oatmeal, orange juice, turkey sandwich, bagel bites (but they came out icky, so had to toss 'em - but I did have a few), um, part of a candy bar, ice cream bar, water, ginger ale.

Haha. Not bad, not good, lol.

Me and Conrad are keeping a food journal together on our board.  Its made me very self concious for someone else to see what I'm eating daily so I've noticed I've really toned it down since....and even confessed to fishing the chips (they were in a sealed bag and my trash can wasn't a disaster...lol) that came with my taco salad out of the trash the other day.  lol.  So I do think its good, it gives you perspective...especially  if you record calories and fat grams.
