so I was in Miami this past weekend for the UM-FSU game and I stayed for Sunday's Phins-Bolts game, where SD emerged 0-6 in Miami since 1982, muahahahaa.....
i had a long post breaking down the two teams that my laptop ghostclicked delete on motherfucker and there's no way I can retype it....and the thought of trying makes me sick, so I'll just sum it up best i can
it was good hanging with friends i made from my UM days who I hadn't seen in a while, it was a fun time watching the canes and phins on the same weekend, and saturday night life was awesome
looks like at 2-2 the phins are turning it around faster than that canes, but hey proven Parcells versus noob Randy Shannon what do you expect.....plus freshmen 18yo's playing is a lot less reliable than rooks and 2,3 year vets in the nfl.....but both have quality leadership now and so the future is bright, just brighter on sundays so far rather than saturdays
this week the phins go out to Houston, who yeah is winless at 0-4, but while they got obliterated by the Curtain and Titans for their first two Ls, they only lost to the Jags by 3 and then Colts by 4....now each Jax and Indy are having issues, but the Texans' competitive performances cannot be overlooked or unmentioned....nor can Miami's pathetic loss when they travelled out to Arizona earlier....will the trip to Houston be the same, or will Miami's success pave the way to even more success?
all i have to say about that is that I thought the days or teams got mixed up in miami this wkend. The Canes and Noles trotted out onto the field and I commented from the club level at Dolphin Stadium that they didnt' looked pumped up at all--and yeah the game had a high score but hey so do scrimmages, and that;s what this once-fierce rivalry looked like, again this year damn it (at leat we've one 7 of the last 10)--and the Dolphins played with the passion, spirit, and enthusiasm you typically see in college....and I mean namely the defense, particularly the secondary--how swarming it was--and the line did well too...well the 3-4 did a great job actually shutting down LT
let's hope our guys can string a 3rd W in a row against Houston and deny those Texans their first W of the year this weekend
