I've never noticed before. :/
In the season premiere, when the various parties all wind up together at the front end of the plane, pay attention to the guy standing behind Rose and Bernard. "Dude A".
After Hurley says to Jack, "I'm not listening to you. I'm listening to my friend. I'm listening to Charlie," then Locke says, "Anyone else?"
Some other dude ("Dude B") walks up from the back and takes Dude A's hand, as a boyfriend would. It looks like they may have gone off with Locke's group.
Has that always been there, or have they just been introduced that subtle way now because they'll get a storyline of some sort this season?
