so, did you all buy the baby laundry detergent or just one of the regular ones with no dye or fragrance?

also, did anyone do cloth diapers?

Its been 17 years since I've had a baby - but I did use Dreft - not sure for how long though? And I used cloth diapers with my first baby - until my second came along just 18 months later! Then faced with 2 at one time, I started buying disposables!

I used dreft for the first couple months then switched to a dye free and frangrance free... it was fine... purex was what the doctor recomened but then my sun has allergies and eczema, and they said that would be best for his skin...so i used that with all my kids...

I used Dreft for like the first 6-8 months.  I figured once he started rolling around in the floor and crawling, that as long as it was harsh then how much could it hurt him.  lol.

I didn't not have the time or strong enough of a stomach to endure cloth diapers.  I used Luv diapers with Josh and they worked just great.

I use the Target version of Dreft for all our clothes. Way cheaper and it smells so good! As for cloth diapering, we didn't do that this time but I might for the next one. We chose not to because we don't have 24 hr. access to a washer/dryer.

My doctor just said to buy any regular stuff that was their "clear" version, without fragrances. We had good luck with Cheer.

So you're using cloth diapers?

That's cool!

Do people still use "plastic pants" over them?

Good luck with the cloth diapers! I tired but failed miserably!

Also - they have some super precious diaper covers out there. Fleece, wool, etc. that are way cuter than those plastic shower cap looking things. :)
