Peel and cut potatoes inot bite size pieces (I use five or six potatoes)
Boil for 25 minutes
Do not drain!
Pour milk in pan until potatoes are just covered
Salt and pepper to taste.
To make ruffles:
2 eggs
1 tsp baking powder
flour
Roll ingredients into 'logs' and cut off bite size pieces. Drop into potato soup and simmer until the ruffles are cooked. (5-10 minutes)
My mom puts onion flakes in hers, but I don't.
I have added some instant potatoes and bacon bits; it takes just like a baked potato!
