: (Can make sauce the night before)
1 lb ground beef
1/4 tsp. pepper - ( I use more to taste)
Oregano - to taste ( I am heavy handed)
2 small jars Ragu tomato sauce ( I use more, at least 1 1/2 lg.)
12 oz. tomato paste
1 onion - med. to large
1/2 tsp. garlic sale ( I use more/to taste)
Brown meat and onion in 2 TBSP. olive oil. Add all other ingredients and simmer 1 hr.
Next day ( or later) -- need 1 pkg lasagna noodles, 8 oz. cream cheese, 8 oz. mozzarella cheese, and parmesan cheese
cook 1/2 package (16) lasagna noodles in boiling salted water
Soften 8 oz. package of cream cheese - mush up with water until can spread;
Flatten noodles and spread cream cheese on one side;
put part of sauce on bottom of pan - then put noodles, mozzarella cheese and parmesan
cheese and continue layers, ending with sauce on top
