I won't bother to comment on the majority of the contestants who ranged from decent meh to weak meh.

 

I thought that far and away the best contestant was Josh Logan.

 

The most GOD-AWFUL contestant was that Mexican chick Zayra Alvarez.

 

Other contestants of note, mostly a bad note:

 

Jill Joya: I could have done without the Janis Joplin impersonation. So unoriginal.

 

Dilana: She sounded like she was possessed. It was like watching the Exorcist.

 

Lukas Rossi: Disgusting, hideously ugly street person, and poseur, to boot.

 

Dana: That chick had a really good voice, but she was totally out of place on this show. Definitely more American Idol material, but not THE American Idol. And what was with that comment to the band that if she traveled on the bus with them she might keep them alive? Was that in reference to her youth? Tommy Lee's Hep C? Drug abuse?

 

Speaking of American Idol, I heard the Rock Star judges make the following comments tonight: "You were pitchy," "You made that song your own," and something about stressing how important "song choice" is for the contestants.

 

So, Rock! Josh Logan!! I guess. Overall, however, I was not blown away by anyone.
