Ok.. I agree with you about Zayra.  She can really have a beautiful voice.  She's a performer, and she's different.  Definately not right for this band, though.  Yea, I hope Lukas wins, too.  Like you said, then we don't have to worry about seeing him anymore, lol.

I like Patrice alot, I think she has a great voice, and she seems so comfortable on stage, but I know what you mean about her getting boring.

Well, obviously Phil wasn't right for this band (well, I'm not sure who is, lol...more later), but couldn't we get rid of another who's clearly not right (Zayra) and keep him in just for some eye-candy? I mean, at least he's cute.

 

I'm not all that clear on what, exactly, these dudes are looking for, but if it's basically hard rock, then they do have a handful who can do that. I still think Dilana's the best thing I've seen in years, but I would really hate for her to get caught up in a binding contract with a bunch of has beens and stifle her career at all. But then, in all honesty, I can't see these guys choosing a woman as a front man.

 

I think Lukas or Toby are probably the best suited for this group.

 

Those guys, btw, obviously are just keeping Zayra in so they can watch her shake her ass some more. I can't imagine that any of them really think she's any good at all. She is constantly going off-key, runs out of breath easily....and her solo last night proved that she really wants the whole Lillith Faire thing anyway.

 

I agree about Patrice, btw, being too "smiley" (just like Josh) for hard rock. I think she has a great voice though and hope she finds her niche.

 

Re: Binding contract...

 

Didn't they say at the beginning that the person who wins, records one song and performs one concert on New Years in Vegas... and that was it. No "you're the new lead singer a la JD".

 

Dilana (if the chosen one) might be able to get out of it quickly should Supernova fail of Titanic proportions. (The boat, not the movie LOL).
