Do you do a "new year's" reading? If so, which spread do you use? Just curious... |

Nope, never have. But I don't do regular resolutions, either. LOL, I sorta look to Chinese New Year and Jewish New Year as times of renewal. Yeah, weird. Ha! I am WAY overdue for a reading, btw. Antsy for one. I need some new incense and the last head shop we had around here closed down. I'd order online, but they don't tell you what they smell like. They have all these lovely names like "Dharma's devotion" or some other shite that tells you nothing about the scent, lol. |

Amateur, not a problem...but someone with such poor grammar skills?? Never! j/k of course....that would be nice, but I can do one if I wasn't afraid to (afraid of what it'll say, I mean), lol. Actually, it might be nice to get a reading from someone else. I don't think I've had anyone else read my cards since.... You know what? I don't think I've ever gotten a reading from someone else. |

wow.... I need to start proofreading my posts! LOL Smig, you've always done your own readings? I always heard you shouldn't read for yourself, because it's too hard to be objective. However you want to read into it, you know? Now I have to do one for you! :-) Anything specific you want to look at? |

I have never ever had one done, but would love to someday. |

LOL, that whole subjectivity thing is a good point, but believe me when I say I do NOT usually get the reading I was hoping for. I'm still not sure how I feel about doing a reading in absentia though. I thoroughly believe that the person receiving the reading really needs to have touched the cards, to have infused his or her essence or spirit into the cards. Otherwise, the juju is strictly coming from the reader and he or she could be putting his own mojo into it. Know what I mean? So I'm hesitant, but more than willing to try. I should probably try a remote reading for someone as well.... I'm lmao at "anything specific"....though. Um...how about everything? Hahaha. I guess I'm mostly interested in knowing whether or not some projects I have in the back of my mind will be pursued and come to fruition. |
