If I find this guy, I'll string him up the nuts, for murdering his daughters and then claiming to be something he obviously has no clue about. There is no ritual killing in modern day paganism. Pagans don't even believe in Satan. Marla Harris: 'I Don't Hate' Suspect In Daughters' Murders | | | | There are new details about the life that a Sioux City man led before, police say, he strangled and stabbed his step-daughters to death, last weekend.
In an interview with the Des Moines Register, the girls' mother, Marla Harris, said her husband, Lawrence Harris, Senior, described himself as a pagan and practiced spells to keep those around him healthy and happy. "He said he was doing it to protect my son," Marla Harris said. "Larry said he was trying to help us."
Lawrence Harris, Senior faces two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of 10-year-old Kendra Suing and her 8-year-old sister, Alysha. Police say Harris told them that it was "a spell gone bad."
Marla Harris told the newspaper that she knew about her husband's pagan beliefs, and asked him to, quote "kept it out of the house" and "away from the children." Harris said she knew that Larry kept a spell book in their bedroom, but Marla says it was on a high shelf, where the kids couldn't reach.
But, one day, Marla Harris told the Register that she found an addition to their shared e-mail address book, the Church of Satan. Larry Harris told Marla that he had been "writing back and forth" with them.
Marla told the newspaper that she doesn't hate her husband. "Hate is a strong word. I don't hate anybody. Do I dislike him? Yes."
