I had a funny little incident the other day, well not funny, but you know what I mean. I found out a guy I graduated highschool with had committed suicide. This really bummed me out because I'd known him since kindergarden, he was the sweetest guy, wouldn't hurt a fly, yet he was teased mercilessly by the other kids in school, just one of those people who always gets the short end in life, you know what I mean? It didn't surprise me, btu it still made me sad. And I got to thinking, gosh, I hope I was never one of those kids who teased him, or ever hurt him in some way. I couldn't recall doing anything to him, but that certainly doesn't mean it never happened, or even if I hurt him without realizing it at the time... this was bothering me so much all week, and as I was driving home thinking about it, I stopped behind a beat up little car with a little old lady at the wheel, and she had a bumper sticker that said, I kid you not-- 4GIVN.
wow. how cool was that? Donna gets messages from bumper stickers all the time, but I think this was my first. Usually the universe talks to me through my itunes. |

That's cool! When I am totally overwhelmed sometimes I'll say a prayer and turn on the radio, hoping the song playing will have some message from God to guide me! I read something once about finding a penny - we always say that's good luck. But instead pick up the penny and read the words "In God We Trust" - perhaps God is trying to start a conversation with you? |
