I've read through several dream dictionaries over the years and I've concluded that for the most part, nobody can really help you interpret a dream unless they're really familiar with your culture - and your personal culture. A general book doesn't really help much, imo.
Like, it could say if you dream of fish it means "X".....but that doesn't take into account your own personal take, like what fish mean to you, or perhaps if it's connected to a past life, etc. In your culture, fish might represent Christianity, for example, but a dream dictionary might describe it as a desire to hide from your troubles (just a random example). I've had a couple of dream dictionaries and I got nothing out of it.
I must admit that I have no idea what "look behind the puppy" could mean, lol. :^P
