"we stole Texas from the Mexican government...."   OMG, I just caught this.  I knew our educational system was in trouble, but this is silly.  We didn't steal anything from Mexico - Texas was it's own country for TEN years before it joined the United States.  It seceded when Mexico moved from a federalist form of government to centralism.

people who are passionate about human decency, and the end of torture and of the lies that lead to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people are like claymates.  right.

You must be living in lalaland - you call 40 million abortions human decency?  You want to stop torturing a terrorist who could provide enough information to save thousands if not millions of lives?  You are grossly uninformed - like all rabid O'bots.

Be careful, Neumann.   You just gave people the right to torture YOU.   All they have to do is THINK that you MIGHT BE a terrorist, and according to you yourself and you, they have the right to torture you.

As for spreading the wealth, well, WAKE UP.  We have been spreading the wealth for YEARS in this country, just in the wrong direction.

You Obot fanatics are really quite off.  Good luck in trying to perceive us conservatives as non-caring shoot-em-up types.  You clearly have no idea about our enemies, good vs. evil or taking care of our freedoms.  You're nothing but apathetic weasels.  You voted for a man full of empty promises who came from where, did what, and has a muslim name.  Farrakhan tipped his hand when he preached to a group of Islamo facists that "they" got America's young ones".  The results of 11/4 will come back to bite us all in the ass.  You have no stinking idea what you've done.

Kiss America good-bye - at one time, it was the greatest country on Earth.  May God have mercy on us all.

//love you too hoots

And you wanna call GWB a liar?  You have to admit that Obama won the primary partially because he promised to end the war. He won't and has said as much since being elected.
He won the election on the promise of lower taxes for the middle class by raising taxes on the "wealthy" and business. He has already stated, since being elected he won't do that.
Just when do you start calling him names like liar?
Just wait until we get hit with a biological or nuclear attack while he's in office - his book said he'd side with the Muslims.  This oughta be good.

Sorry, Neumann.  We gave you and George 8 years and alll you did was make a mess.

You said you were going to liberate Iraq from Saddam Hussein.  Mission accomplished, but oh what a mess you made while ignoring our REAL enemies.

Obama is now president of your good 'ol USA.

Love it or leave it, Neumann, isn't that what you always used to say????

Major democrats agree..an empty suit and unqualified

Obama himself said he was not qualified here:

Vice President-Elect Biden said he was not qualified here:

His future Secretary of state Clinton says he is not qualified here:

Obama: "It would be foolish, at such a critical time in our history, to pick people who had no experience."

I use the same logic when choosing Presidents, Obama.

New Commander In Chief of the United States:

"I think that the surge has succeeded in ways that nobody anticipated," Obama told O'Reilly in an interview taped

Thursday in York, PA. "It's succeeded beyond our wildest dreams."

Barack, a foreign policy failure:

Barack, "I've got a bracelet too..."

In our hour of need the people elect Obama because he's hip and cool.  This will haunt us till the day we die.

It's me Neumie for those of you who are confused - which apparently are almost all of you.

In response to your question Kaspar, considering who he has surrounded himself with????????????? Where's the change he so emphatically promised???? I have little hopes for America staying a Democracy and having free trade. I guess we'll all be comrades here pretty soon............. or at least Serfs. We'll see how this all plays out but the man is untried as a leader and I'm not looking forward to his on-the-job training.  Scarey.

What will you do if Obama turns out to be one of the best presidents of the modern era?

Here another one for you...do you feel that Bush was one of the worst presidents ever?

Yeah, right! When I think of the Obama-mates, the first word that comes to mind is "decency". NOT! The way they treated McCain, a war hero who has given a lifetime of service to his country was, in a word, indecent. They way they treated the Clintons, particularly Bill who is unequivocally the best thing the Democrats have produced in more than a generation was, in a word, indecent.

Obama has been able to play the nice guy all along because he's had these supporters who have been more than willing to do the dirty work on his behalf. I'm still not sure what I think about Obama, but I can't STAND his borg...

Comedic actress Fran Drescher wants to go from playing nasally New Yawkers in films like Saturday Night Fever and sitcoms like The Nanny to representing New York in the U.S. Senate.

Publicist Jordan Brown delivered the straight line that Drescher is really, really serious about the seat held by Secretary of State-designate Hillary Rodham Clinton. Brown cited Drescher's experience as an actress, advocate for women's health and public diplomacy envoy for the U.S. State Department.

The 51-year-old This is Spinal Tap actress joins a field headed by Caroline Kennedy and New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo. New York Gov. David Paterson will make the choice if Clinton is confirmed secretary of state in the Obama administration.
