Clay Aiken becomes a father Published: Aug. 8, 2008 at 12:08 PM Clay Aiken (UPI Photo Files/Laura Cavanaugh) RALEIGH, N.C., Aug. 8 (UPI) -- Clay Aiken's mother says the U.S. singer and his music producer best friend, Jaymes Foster, became the parents of a baby boy, born at 8:08 a.m. on Aug. 8, 2008. Aiken's publicist told People magazine in May that Foster was artificially inseminated. People.com said Aiken and Foster aren't a couple, but plan to raise the baby together. Aiken's mother, Faye, announced the child's birth on the Raleigh, N.C., radio station WRAL Friday morning. She said Parker Foster Aiken was born in North Carolina. Clay Aiken was born and raised in Raleigh. Faye Aiken said her son was "smiling from ear-to-ear" because of the new addition, People.com reported. | Clay Aiken, Jaymes Foster May Procreate Again The 29-year-old singer and his 50-year-old producer and friend, who he has impregnated the old-fashioned way (artificial insemination), used advanced IVF therapy to conceive their first child, who is due this summer. But celebrity news magazines are reporting that Jaymes Foster has already frozen more eggs so they can have a second baby next year. Aiken has also set aside some sperm. You may vomit at will.
