Katy Perry and all that fruit that was fun.  JT and TI together were awesome.  U2 I thought were awful, I hate that new song of theres.  And how in the hell did Cold Play win best rock album, they arent a rock band!  Overall a pretty good show. 

 

 

Sidenote:  WTF is going on with Chris Brown and Rihanna? 

Was Jennifer Hudson back together with her old high-school boyfriend or is "David" her new one?  And what was with  Carrie Underwear's outfit?  She looked like she was doing a weak Tina Turner impersonation.

Clive Davis needs to request a refund from whatever Rehab joint he sent Whitney to.

I almost forgot about Whitney, she was a drugged out mess when she was presenting J Hud, think her comeback is a bit premature

 

 

 

Never a fan of NSYNC but I think JC has by far the better voice but with show business it is not all just about the pipes.   I have JC solo album....it was a good effort but it did not do so well sales wise.

Joe -- Jennifer was with her new fiancé.  She dumped the old boyfriend.  I agree with you about Whitney.  She sounded like she was on something.  It was embarrassing to watch.

 

Ero -- Re:  Coldplay -- From what I can gather -- from interviews and remarks they've made themselves -- they also don't know how to categorize their own music.

 

Hootie -- I remember seeing an 'N Sync concert on HBO and I was amazed at what a brilliant dancer Justin was.  He's got those smooth Fred Astaire moves and should do more of that.  I really like him; I think he's got it all.

 

I thought the Grammys were good but it just went on way too long.  They were trying to cram too many performances into one show.  I really loved that lady from Sugarland -- I'm totally unfamiliar with that group (I still don't know exactly what the guy does or why she needs him).  She has a fantastic voice and I loved her duet with Adele, another new favorite of mine.

 

 

 

I love Sugarland...saw them live a few months back...fabulous!  The man (Christian) is a driving force in their success I would say and he sings more than back-up on a number of the new album songs.  The mix just works!
