I just taped one of those to watch later....I love that show when I was a kid. I have not see it for a long time though...did not know it was in reruns.
Superstars of Dance -- For some reason it just didn't capture my attention. I watched for about 10 minutes and I thought it was ... I don't know ... something that I can't put my finger on. And I really love dance so I can't explain why I just couldn't get into this.
The judging is atrocious. Therefore, the competition element is a joke. Therefore, it's only enjoyable for the individual dances, and not for any throughline tying it all together.
Yes for sure drew...that is what I put in my opening post...if you watch it just as a sort of showcase of different styles it is fine.....as a contest is is super lame. And that Argentine judge really annoys me...and the Chinese judge is super useless...he does not say anything really...surely from a country of over a billion they could find someone better than him. I love the Russian judge...some of his analogies are a hoot. But as judges they are all useless...but sometimes their little comments add a bit to show. I do not like Michael Flatly's style of dance but I think he is doing fine as the host.
I also watched about 10 minutes of it and could not get interested at all. They were doing the Michael Flatly dance stuff and I can't stand that. I'll wait for DWTS.
