Well, the fights go on. The partisan politics are alive and well.
But it seems we've reached a "wait and see" period, doesn't it? Some Republicans are publicly denouncing the Iraq war, and some Democrats are now saying we should stay the course. I ask you.
It's the same with the Borders, Immigration, the economy, just about every issue is being led by the polls. Which, really, is saying our Government is led by our people. Like 'of the people, for the people , by the people'. (Not necessarily in that order) I'm not even in an argumentive mode........all I know is I will always support our Country, our troops, and our President.
Maybe I've missed something.......have I?

Too bad Dubya is gonna leave it to the new president to get us out of Iraq in 2008.  Wasn't that his statement today?   "We are gonna stay the course until it becomes a Democrat's problem".

It started out as a Democrats problem - and look how they handled it.

Stay the course!

I'm not sure what to think about his response to illegal immigration that was reported on all the news sources yesterday. It's better than I would expect from him, but I can't imagine that it will be popular on either side...
