This is such a crock.  I did not go see Farenheit 911.  I am not giving Michael Moore my money so that i can watch his propaganda and yes, i think his movie contains a lot of propaganda.  I gave my money to John Kerry instead.

For Michael Niewodowski to claim that if people don't support our "brave leaders" that we don't support our troops is HOGWASH.

I support our troops fully and my deepest condolences go out to every family that has lost a loved one to this debacle we've got going on in Iraq.

I also think it is ridiculous and LUDICROUS for this man to compare WW2 with the war in Iraq.  It's not a war on terror anymore.  It's a war that we made happen in Iraq either because of ineptitude of the current administration or something that is even more frightening.....deceitfulness.

I grew up in Brooklyn and now i live in the neighboring state of NJ.  As a child i was fascinated watching the twin towers being built.  I wondered how they would get the cranes down from the top when they were all finished.  I remember how awestruck i felt when my dad took us into Manhattan to see the towers up close when they were completed. When i was a teenager and worked as a summer camp counselor i took my young campers up to the observation decks on those buildings. My heart broke when i watched the barbaric devestation of those towers on live tv.  Former and current neighbors of mine lost family members in that tragedy.  It was personal.  My husband and I donated $1000 to the victims fund.  And in the days following I supported the president.  I have the service that he orchestrated at the National Cathedral preserved on video tape.  I fully supported his attack on Afghanistan.....i mean.......they had brutally attacked us and i cheered when the taliban was forced from power.

Bush lost me when he went into Iraq.  Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 and the commission has proven that.  He took the support of most of the citizens of the USA and twisted that support to try to legitimize his misguided plans for Iraq.

Bush lost me when he failed to come through with all the funding he promised for NYC in the days after the tragedy.  Bush lost me when he cut funding for first responders to help finance his error of the tax cut for his rich and corporate friends.  Bush lost me when he allowed his administration to make the citizens of this country be treated like traitors when they questioned what this administration was doing and implied that if we were against the war in Iraq, we were letting our troops down.

Bush and his administration let our troops down and i hate them for that.  I really do and if there is a hell i hope they rot in it.  They use the troops as a pawn and a backdrop as they seek to carry out their own long held neocon agenda.  Meanwhile they are cutting benefits for veterans who once fought just as the troops in Iraq are fighting now.

Comparing FDR and GWB is pathetic and laughable.  WW2 was something we absolutely HAD to do.  Afghanistan is something we absolutely HAD to do.  Iraq is either a terrible mistake, for which they deserve to be impeached or something more sinister....again.....something for which they deserve to be impeached.

And i'll be damned if i let these cowardly men in the current administration try to tell me that i don't support the troops if i don't support the mess that the administration has made. The president wasn't even man enough to appear before the commission by himself.  Why??  I don't respect them at all and i wouldn't cross the street for the chance to even get close enough to tell them what i think of them.  I have been to a candlelight vigil for a young man from my neighboring town of Howell when he was killed in Iraq.  I WILL go out of my way for THAT guy.  I love our troops.

The writer of the above article and ANYONE who tries to say that those who don't support the war in Iraq don't support our troops are full of sh*t.
