Afghanistan....ABSOLUTELY the RIGHT thing to do....and it was done WELL. We should have STAYED there til we were finished, til the taliban was obliterated <they are attempting to regroup wherever they can> and Osama Bin Laden, the man who ATTACKED us...was CAPTURED or KILLED.
Our Media likes to harp on Iraq, so I can understand where this confusion is coming from. But "We never left Afghanistan" I think somewhere down the road someone got us confused with RUSSIA and spread that nasty rumor, (musta been Bin Laden)
As for Bin Laden, He isn't in afghanistan, he is tucked away over in Pakistan our so called Allied, I have to do a little more research to give you more of a explanation as to why we can't just invade, but its late now and I have a long work day tomorrow. I just wanted to stress mainly we never left Afganistan, I have read that several times (not just here)and just don't get why people think we did.
