This a fun show......love the dancers and dancing. The celebrities team up with dancers and really work hard to learn their routines. So far, my favs are John O'Hurly and Rachel Hunter. She's very graceful (who knew she could be so limber?) and he looks good doing anything. IMHO. Plus, Evander Holyfield is no slouch!
This show has a limited amount of votes per phone line and a limited amount on-line. (Are you taking notes American Idol??)
It's on tonight, a repeat first, then a new show. They have the eliminations after the dancing........all on one night.

Yeah, Evander really wasn't as good as the others. But I just think the idea of such a big name boxer doing ballroom dancing is fun.
Joey was really good tonight.....I love the "show" he and Ashley put on.
I'm sticking with John for my fav, though. He's so funny and talented and I adore the dance face he has.
Rachel was extremely good tonight, and Kelly sure does try hard. I think she's good, but I find myself watching her partner more. Now he's a dancer!

I can't stand ballroom dancing. And the fact they put it in the Olympics is a total CROCK!
I would never watch this show.
I agree with FTJ

But if it makes you summer go by faster, I say have at it.

If this message appears twice, I apologize. I already sent one like it but it disappeared into cyberspace and I didn't copy before I clicked send, so once again...........
I cannot believe Rachel Hunter was eliminated last night. And yet, they're all so good and work so hard to learn and practice a new dance each week, I think they should all end up winning. I agree with the Judges that Kelly has improved the most, and her partner's probably the best dancer in the world (I do wish he had a different hair style, though.)  She sure handled her 'wardrobe malfunction' well. But I still phoned in my five votes limit for John O'Hurley. He's just wonderful.
This show is being touted as the 'surprise hit of the summer'. I really do enjoy it.

I do realize not everyone cares for ballroom dancing......or figure skating......but I love it. The dances, the grace, the outfits. On the other hand, a lot of people really like rap and I abhore it. The lyrics, the lack of melody, the crotch-grabbing that seems to go with it. But it's all in the taste of the individuals. I don't want to take away anyone's preference with music or anything else.  I have two teen Granddaughters and they play rap or hip hop or whatever and I cringe inside, but love that they enjoy music. Of any kind.

Anyway, I do recommend this show for pure entertainment, beauty, and humor. It's a delight and I hope you all try it at least one time. Just for something different. Now if I only got money for this. lol.

Hubby and I enjoy this show.  We have been watching it since it started.

We hated that Rachel got ditched.  I for one do not care for Joey McIntyre.  It did not bother us that Trista Sutter got ditched either.  Her 15 minutes were up long ago.

We loved seeing Evander shaking it.  He did his best.  It was entertaining.

I love, love, love the ice dancing (which is similar to ballroom dancing) and ice skating during the winter olympics.

I am in Canada and Joey is still in!!You must get it earlier than us. Also last week Regis named the winner which really bums me out and spoiled it for me.
I end up watching John's expresions andnot his feet so don't know how his footwork is.
I give Kelly a lot of credit for perseveering despite the judges.
I liked Rachel Hunter but she was a bit wooden. She gave it all though.
Trista was out because of popularity-no one likes her stretching her 15 minutes of fame. I think Evander should have went before Trista.

I'm still happy......John and Charlotte to the finals. And Kelly has turned out to be a great competitor. I wasn't disappointed that Joey and Ashley were eliminated. They're really good, but the chemistry between them seems pretty brittle to me.

Thanks for not posting who Regis said the winner is, Nanook. I'm so into this show now, and rooting for John. Everyone talks about how much Kelly has improved, but John has had to learn a lot, too. And I love what he said about wanting to continue being a part of a show that has Grandparents and all generations (paraphrasing)watching. And did anyone notice how the audience are all dressed up too?

I can't wait until next week for the winners, but kinda wish this show would go on a lot longer.
