NO, NO NO! Marie is Randy. Little Richard is incoherent Paula! I can't believe that Xena Whorier Princess was the top vote getter. Surely Jai, Alfonso and Hal are better than her. So was Leah who should not have been eliminated last week. Good riddance to Carly. She should stick to gymnastics. |

Lucy Lawless SUCKS big time. She can not sing. Her duet with Dionne Warwick was terrible. Poor Dionne is getting a little too old and losing her voice but she sounded wonderful next to LL. My favorite is Alfonso! His two duets with Deneice Williams were FANTASTIC! |

And Alfonso and Jai both started on Broadway ("The Tap Dance Kid" and "Rent," respectively), way before they ever used Lucy Talentless to do a "star" turn in Grease (or whatever she did). She has a small voice. Alfonso and Jai are professional dancer/singers and it shows. I LOVED Alfonso's duet with Deneice Williams -- and didn't SHE sound amazing? Wow ... she still has it. I don't really care for this show but I think it was a joke that Lucy got the highest votes. I guess it pays to be a bleached-blonde-Amazonion. |

I hope Lucy Voiceless drops from 1st to 4th or 5th since 2 are being eliminated this week, and based on competition to date, it should be her and Cheech. |

Simon the producer must have another DUD on his hands since they are booting two contestants this week and trying to get rid of this show before it becomes even more of an embarrassment. Fox also didn't do much at 9 with "Celebrity Duets" (fourth-place 5.84million viewers). "The OC" will return in the hour for Fox after baseball. |

Ratings news for the finale week:
"Celebrity Duets" again drew tiny numbers at 9 (1.5/4 in 18-49, 4.0 million viewers overall). "
Guess this one won't be back next summer ! Bye Marie! You're a little bit country, but you ain't a little bit judge!

Alfonso won. Lucy was second. I just watched bits and pieces of this one.......not that much into it. I did think Jai had the best voice, but he was bumped off a couple of weeks ago. Hard to believe Cheech and Hal outlasted him. |
