I was shopping with my son last week. We had arrived at the store and I was getting out of the car. My son grabbed my arm and whispered to me, "Mommy the camera in the sky is lookin' at me."
I am baffled. Lots of thoughts go thru my head at once. Has someone told my son a story about "the camera in the sky" to freak him out? Is it something he dreamed? Something he imagined? Is he becoming paranoid at the ripe old age of 6? Will he be asking for tin foil hats soon?
None of the above. I look where he is looking and I see a video camera on the top of the roof of the store. It is actively scanning the parking lot. I had never noticed it before. I guess he couldn't think of the word for roof or didn't know how else to explain it... so he said the camera in the sky...
So I laugh. But it did freak me out for a second. I had no idea what he was talking about... LOL
