Well my Thursday was ok, but it was cold and windy today. I went to my brother's place tonight because his wife invited me to a candle party.Well dopey me thought it was this Thursday and the party isn't until next Thursday night, lol. So I ended up staying and had a really nice long visit with them anyway.(Which I don't get to see them very often)It was fun. That's about it for me today, hope you all had a nice Thursday too!

Squeeky and I went out in the desert today on a 4X4 golf cart thingie my Dad has.
It was a beautiful day!        Had a great time!
Saw a momma javilina and her two babies,  some great scenery and got bounced around a little.
Squeeky really enjoyed it!      I am always careful when we go out on an atv together.
We came back covered in leaves and twigs,  oh and a fair amount of dust as well.
That little toy can crawl up just about anything.    Woo Hoo!!!

How's your Thursday?  Mine's been kind of a rough start but it has evened out now.  My daughter has an ear infection and my hubby has some kind of trouble with one of his teeth.  My son was the only cheerful one this morning... LOL

He woke up with a big smile and said, "I'm going to the computer lab today!"  He was cheerful and chatty all the way to school.

I hope you are all having a good day.

Squeeky and I are driving up to Phoenix for Squeekys Surgery consultation.

She finally got permission to get her knees replaced.      Today she gets to talk to the surgeon to set the appointment for the surgery.    Yay!

We are keeping busy.      When we are busy,  we aren't dwelling on the girl..
It's cloudy this morning.     It might actually be under 50 degrees F.     WOW!!!

Glad to hear you got your appointment with the surgeon, keeping my fingers crossed that you don't have to wait too long for the surgery.
Things are quiet here on the home front. It is a nice quiet though.'Tis the season it gets hectic very soon.
Have a nice Thursday everyone.

If everything goes well,  the surgery is scheduled for January 28th at 1Pm Arizona time.
Expected time for surgery is 2 to 2.5 hours for each knee.    So 4 to 5 hours total.
In an un-expected note,  this is the same surgeon who did my fathers last two hip replacements.       A Real Nice Dr.  and a nice and friendly staff who remembered my dad very well.     They still talked about his jokes!

He is.     He saved my Dads life.

On the last surgery,  he had to dig the steel insert out of my fathers femur,  it had broken in half deep inside the bone.
The surgery was an unuseally long one.

Yep!     Back home.

The infectious disease specialist was concerned about my reports of my back aches.
So he got me in to have a CT scan of my back.     I swear I have an amazing Dr.!

He is a leading expert on Valley Fever and he gets what he wants from the hospital without any time wasting crap!

It sounds like you do have a good Doctor Luke. It has been a chilly week here. Monday was -30C. Today it's not as bad -23C but the wind chills make it feel alot colder. Daughter is touring a high school this morning and she is excited about that. I've been working on the dinner menu for our Christmas dinner.I have tons of shopping to still do too. Hope you all have a great Thursday! ~(^c^)~
