Ok,  we are home.
Whew!!    Long driving and very fast visits.        Too fast to set up things like getting my father on The Tonight show with Jay Leno.
Too fast to get a pass to go to the Warner Bros. lot.
But,  next time with two weeks advanced notice,  I will make my Dad a star!

But,  in the mean time,   here are some photos I got to take.

The Halliwell Manor

The Griffith Park Observatory

LA harbor fishing boats

A seal that was curious.

Thanks,  no Ariel,  we were at the observatory in the afternoon,  so no chance of seeing stars.     And,  LA's smog is so bad,  that observatory is now more of a science of museum then anything else.
They make a LOT of movies there as well.

The Hollywood sign through the smog.

Look very carefully to the left of the photo below.       Very Large skyscrapers less then two miles away are bearly visable.
