I got back from vacation and check the mail that has accumulated while we have been gone and I found out that I lost three things today.

Social Security has seen fit to revoke my medicare and the wonderful state of Arizona has denied my state covered insurance plan.

And to top it all off,  Social Security has also lowered my monthly allowence from $643.00 down to $583.00 a month.

Apparently I was making too much money,  even though the Social Security has said that I was allowed to make up to $800.00 per month in Addition to my income from the Government before they would reduce any benefits.    My weekly pay has been around $120.00.

The poverty level is above $15,000.00 for a single person now and I still make $12,000.00 per year.

It seems to me that our government wants us to learn how to lie cheat and steal to pay our bills or sit on our asses and live completely off government handouts.      Then while we don't have enough money to fuel our vehicles to drive to the grocery store for food that we can't afford in the first place,  we get to see the people who could work get free money, medical, dental, foodstamps, and free educations at state run universitys.      Just so they can come back and say how great it is to sit on their asses and collect all that free money while driving escalades and hummers that they found out how to get our government to pay for.

Sometimes it is enough to make me want to give in and become a thief.
Except that I don't like the retirement plan and I start thinking how much better it is to simply say "Yessuh Massah!"       And stay a downtrodden peon.      No dignity to speak of,  yet I am still relatively free to do what I want or go where I want.    As long as I tip my hat to my betters,  like all the law enforcement personel our lives have become accustomed to these days.

Sorry folks,  I am just a little depressed at coming home from a great vacation and finding out that I have to quit my job so I can get my medical benefits back.
