Okay feedback coming up.

You did ask what I would do...

I have been in your position Luke.  I have been angry because someone rubbed me the wrong way.  Then I drafted a post and sent a copy of it to someone whose judgement I trusted.  Then if the person told me it was over the the line I either didn't post the message or if I had already posted it, I would delete the message.

I am sorry if this is not what you want to hear.  I understand you got angry and that you don't want to apologize again.  I get it.  But you asked what I (emphasis on I) would do.  And that's what I would do.

I'm a big softie and a pushover.  I don't really like conflict.  I am far more likely to apologize than not.

It has happened to me too. I'm sure it has happened to most people on msn groups at one time or another.I have done the same thing Rid has done. I emailed my response to a trusted person who had an objective opinion. I found that it really put things in perspective for me.Each topic board has it's own thing going on. An 'Agree to Disagree' board is exactly that. Agree to disagree. If people don't agree with one another then they can just leave it as that.It can be very difficult to do sometimes because a board like that can have some pretty hot topics.A board that has two teams battling with one another all in fun can get pretty crazy at times too, but the key word there is 'fun'. It can get difficult if there is a person on that board that you are not too crazy about. I try to just go with the flow. Let things role off your back, let it go.If you find that things are getting a little too serious, lighten things up and try to have some fun with it.This kind of board is not for everyone. For me it is a nice break from reality, hahaha! All the people on both teams are good people and are there to have fun too.Try and let the negative responses go, try positive ones. Answer the negative posts with positive ones. Life's too short to get stressed about a message board on the internet.

I am sorry if this is not what you want to hear.

Honesty is exactly what I both wanted and needed to hear,  Rid.
Honestly,  I should have taken your advice,  plural,  because both of you said the same thing,  Rid and Dis.

Honestly,  at first I liked her because she made me think about things.     And thats a good thing.
Then we both went to far.

I quit and she taunted me.    I lost it,  At that point I had had enough and I was drawing my own personal line in the sand,  so to speak.

And now I hope to have made a deal that will allow us all to co-exist in harmony,  or at least without screaming names at each other.

Amen Dis!    Amen.

Hey Luke..dont worry about it....the problem is solved now....hopefully the person that would have been offended....never read the post...honestly...I'm glad I didnt have to go to war with you...It's not something I wanted to do....because then I would have to have that serious moment.....and who knows where that would have led to.....if you want to poke fun at the Z-Man....go for it.....we can have some laughs.......sometimes the ol'smackdown game can get up to the edge...and as Dis says....thats when you have to turn it a new direction.......we dont want to seriously hurt peoples feelings...........but we want to air our creative wits.....and laugh at ourselves as well as all the peeps playing........it is a game of one upmenship.....so it does get dangerous at times....so I understand  why and how you came to do what you did.....I know on some occasions.I have probably crossed the line with you..(I dont tend to do that with the women...or I try not to)......and that makes me feel bad....I dont enjoy that.....I'm there to play a character and have some laughs between friends.....not make Luke feel like crap........anyway...sorry you ended up going thru all the stress that you did........remember.....its not personal.....its Characters sparing with Characters...and after the game.....we ALL are friends.
and as the Z-Man would say:
Ain't it Great!

Yeah Zanz,  it took me years to figure that part out.

It was like 180 degrees in the other direction of the way I thought.
I am very empathic,  I FEEL what other people are going through and when they talk about their
experiances I flash for a moment into their lives.
Sometimes it gets a little crowded inside my head.     People bumping elbows,  that leads to shouting,
that leads to pushing and shoving and that leads to bags full of dog crap being lit on my mental front door.       The stink is incredible!!!!
Thats one of the reasons I have always believed in apologising.
It works and clears the air leaving a nice fresh scent.

But I guess an empath shouldn't be a debater.      I can argue both sides of almost any issue,
but once I take a stand I really get into it.     And I start to convince myself I'm right.
Good thing I'm not a travelling preacher man huh??
The movie  "Leap of Faith"  comes to mind.     Great movie!   Really cynical!!!!!!    Steve Martin,  Debra Winger.

Well I don't want to convert anybody,  we have all the religions in the world fighting each other.      Where do we go from there???

Orbital Hotels!!!!        Weekend excursions to the Moon!         Talk about the Lunitic fringe!!!

FREE ENTERPRISE IN SPACE!!!!!!!!!

Get a McDonalds in the MOON!        Thats the job I want!      "Do you want ass fries with that moon burger  Sir or Madam or Whatever???
No,  that meal does not come with a free toy.     That little bag is for when you throw it all back up."         Low Gravity plays tricks on newbies.
