     Well this isn't really a holiday thing.  However one thing that has been done in my family is...
     for your birthday you buy a gift for everyone that comes to your birthday party.  We have done this since I was a little girl.  The B/D person had to buy something for each person, no matter how small a gift it was, you had to buy them something.  This still goes on today.  as a thank you for celebrating our birthdays!

My favorite holiday tradition is reading the Christmas Story and The Night Before Christmas on Christmas Eve before the lil ones go to bed.
