I wouldn't turn them in. If I knew them well enough and thought they were a decent person and this was just a desperate act of a hungry man, then I would talk to them. I would offer to pay for what they were stealing and if I had enough to spare give them some money on top of that.

I would do the same, there are alot of hungry people out there, even working homeless people that are down on their luck. Alot of people say that will 'never' happen to me. HA!...all I think is...NEVER say 'never'.
