Chocolate Cake (Judes)
In a bowl put:   3 tablespoons cocoa; 2 cups flour;
   1 cup sugar ; 1 tspn salt;
   1 tspn baking powder; 1 tspn baking soda
 Mix together well and make 3 wells in the mixture.
 Into 1..pour 1 tspn vinegar
 Into 1..pour 1 tspn vanilla essence
 Into the last 3 tablespoons melted butter
Over this pour 1 and a half cups tepid water. Mix well, and bake for half hour at 180c.

Chocolate Cake the Irish way   (Judes + aunt m's )

   1 tspn baking powder; 1 tspn baking soda
 Mix together well and make 3 wells in the mixture.
 Into 1..pour 1 tspn vinegar

Over this pour 1 and a half cups tepid water. Mix well, and bake for half hour at 180c. in clover shaped tin. cover with green frosting and any clover shaped fruit .
Eat and enjoy.

Warm Chocolate Fruit Cake
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter;3/4 cup sugar;2 eggs;
1 1/2 cups SR flour;pinch salt;2 tbsp milk;
1 tsp vanilla essence;4 medium ripe black *sapotes
Chocolate Fruit Sauce:
Method:
Cream butter and sugar.Add eggs and beat well.
Mix in fruit pulp and add sifted flour alternately,
 with milk and salt.
Beat until well mixed. Bake in mod oven for 45 mins.
Alternatively,bake in muffin tray for 15 to 20 mins
or steam in individual pudding moulds.
Serve warm with Chocolate Fruit Sauce and cream.
*If Black Sapotes are not available, substitute with
 bananas, cooked apple, carrot or pumpkin.

Egg-Free Dairy-Free Nut-Free Cake
This chocolate cake is so good,you'll never miss the dairy products!:   Ingredients:
1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour.1/2 tspn salt.1 cup white sugar.
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder.1 tspn baking soda.
1/4 cup and 1 tablespoon vegetable oil.1 tablspn white vinegar.
1 tspn vanilla extract.
1 cup cold water.1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Directions:
 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan.
 In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, sugar, cocoa powder, and baking soda. Mix well with a fork, then stir in oil, vinegar, and vanilla extract. When dry ingredients are thoroughly moistened, pour in cold water and stir until batter is smooth. Stir in chocolate chips and pour batter into prepared pan.
 Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 35 mins, until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool on a rack.

Anne's Low-Sugar Chocolate Cake
     Prep Time: 40 Mins
Cook Time: 35 Mins
Ready in: 1 Hour 15 Mins" Even the non-diabetics in my family will eat this... happily!
ingredients:
1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa powder; 1/2 c.boiling water*;
2 1/2 c. cake flour; 1 tspn baking soda ;
2 tspns baking powder ;1/2 tspn ground cinnamon ;
1/4 tspn salt ;3/4 c. margarine ;
1/2 c. granular sucrolose sweetener ;2 tspns vanilla extract ;
1 c. cold water *3 egg whites;
1/2 tspn cream of tartar; 1/3 cup white sugar **;
 
Directions    
 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9 inch pans. Stir the boiling water into the cocoa powder, and set aside to cool. In a separate bowl, sift together the cake flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. 
 In a medium bowl, cream together the margarine and the granular sucrolose until light and fluffy. Beat in the vanilla, the cold water, and the cooled cocoa mixture. 
 In a large glass or metal mixing bowl, beat egg whites until foamy. Gradually add the cream of tartar and sugar, continuing to beat until stiff peaks form. Fold 1/3 of the whites into the batter, then quickly fold in remaining whites until no streaks remain. 
 Pour batter into prepared pans. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 mins, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. 
 Makes 2 - 9 inch round cake layers

Spicy Chocolate Cake 
Yields 1 - 9x13 inch pan.
1 cup NESTLE® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels,
melted* and cooled;
1 1/4 cups granulated sugar ;3/4 cup butter or margarine, melted;
1 teaspoon vanilla extract ;3 large eggs ;
2 cups all-purpose flour ;1 tablespoon ground cinnamon ;
1 teaspoon baking soda ;1/2 teaspoon salt;
1 cup milk; 2 tablespoons ORTEGA® Diced Jalapenos;
 
RICH CHOCOLATE FROSTING:
3 1/4 cups confectioners sugar; 1/3 cup milk ;
1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened;
2 (1 ounce) packets NESTLE® TOLL HOUSE®
Choco Bake Unsweetened Chocolate Flavor;
2 teaspoons vanilla extract; 1/4 teaspoon salt ;
 
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Grease and flour two 9-inch-round baking pans or
one 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
 For SPICY CHOCOLATE CAKE:
 Beat granulated sugar, butter and vanilla extract in
 large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs; beat for 1 minute.
Beat in melted chocolate. Combine flour, cinnamon, baking
soda and salt in medium bowl; beat into chocolate mixture
alternately with milk. Stir in jalapenos.
 Pour into two well-greased 9-inch-round baking pans or one
 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
Bake in preheated 350 degree F. oven for 30 to 35 minutes
or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
 Cool in pan(s) for 20 minutes; invert onto wire rack(s)
 to cool completely.
 For RICH CHOCOLATE FROSTING:
Beat powdered sugar, milk, butter, Choco Bake,
vanilla extract and salt in small mixer bowl until mixture
 is smooth and creamy. Frost cake.
 * Follow melting instructions on NESTLE® package.
 Makes 10 servings

Chocolate Decadently Rich Cake 
 
Yields 1 - 10 inch Bundt pan.
 1 (18.25 ounce) package dark chocolate cake mix;
 1 (3.9 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix ;
 1 (16 ounce) container sour cream ;
 3 eggs; 1/3 cup vegetable oil ;
 1/2 cup coffee flavored liqueur; 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips ;
 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
 Grease and flour a 10 inch Bundt pan.
  In a large bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix,
  sour cream, eggs, oil and coffee liqueur.
  Beat until ingredients are well blended. Fold in chocolate chips.
  Batter will be thick. Spoon into prepared pan.
  Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, or until cake springs back
  when lightly tapped. Cool 10 minutes in pan, then turn out and
 cool completely on wire rack.
  Makes 12 servings

Chocolate Chocolate Chip In A Dream Cake 
 
a quick and delicious chocolate cake.
Yields 1 - 13x9 inch cake.
1 (18.25 ozs) package chocolate cake mix;
2 (3.9 ozs) packages instant chocolate pudding mix ;
2 eggs ;2 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips ;
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Lightly grease one 13x9 inch cake pan.
Make chocolate pudding according to package directions.
Combine chocolate cake mix, chocolate pudding, and eggs
and beat for 2 minutes at medium speed of an electric mixer.
Pour batter into prepared pan and cover top with the semisweet
chocolate chips.
 Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 to 35 minutes.
 Makes 14 servings.

My Crazy Cake
3 cups flour ;1 tsp. salt ;
2 tsp. soda ;2 cups sugar ;
6 Tbsp.cocoa ;
Sift these dry ingredients together 3 times.
 Make 2 wells. Into one well put 2 Tbsp. vinegar,
 into the other put 3/4 cup oil. Pour 2 cups water over all.
Stir until lumps are gone and
 put in a greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan.
 Bake at 350 degrees F. for about 40 mins.

Old Fashioned Chocolate Cake
1/2 cup butter; 2 cups brown sugar;
2 eggs ;2 1/4 cup cake flour ;
1/4 tsp. salt ;1/2 cup sour milk* ;
1/2 cup boiling water ;1 tsp. soda ;
2 Tbsp. cocoa ;1 tsp. vanilla ;
1 tsp. baking powder ;
Mix dry ingredients, add
the softened butter and sour milk* and beat 1 min.
Add eggs and vanilla. Stir soda and cocoa into boiling
water and mix and then beat into cake mixture at the end.
Bake in greased and floured layer pan
or 9 x 13 inch cake pan at 350 degrees F. 30 or 35 mins
 or until done.
**To sour 1/2 cup milk; add one of the following:
 1 1/2 tsp. vinegar. Or 1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice.

Amish Chocolate Cake
1 cup brown sugar; 1 cup white sugar ;
1/2 cup shortening ;yolks of two eggs ;
1 cup buttermilk ;1 tsp. soda ;
1 tsp. vanilla ;2 cups flour ;
1/2 cup cocoa;1/2 cup boiling water ;
Beat the whites of two eggs. Sift flour, soda and
white sugar together. Cream brown sugar & shortening.
 Add egg yolks. Add flour and buttermilk creaming well.
 Add vanilla, cocoa and water (mix the two first) and
lastly add the beaten egg whites.
Bake in two layer pans or a 9 x 13 inch pan that
 has been greased and floured.
Bake at 350 degrees F. 35 mins or until done.

Chocolate Chip Date Cake
1 Cup hot water ;1 1/4 cup chopped dates ;
3/4 cups margarine ;1 cup sugar ;
2 eggs ;2 cups sifted flour ;
1 tsp. soda ;1/2 tsp. salt ;
1 tsp. vanilla ;1 cup chocolate chips ;
1/2 cup chopped nuts ;
Mix chopped dates and hot water. Cool.
Cream together butter and sugar.
Add eggs and beat well.
 Mix the flour, soda and salt and add to the
creamed mixture alternately with the date mixture.
Mix well after each addition.
Stir in vanilla and 1/2 cup chips.
Spread in greased 13 x 9 inch pan.
Top with remaining chips and nuts.
 Bake at 350 degrees F. for 35 mins or until done.
 No need to frost.

Chocolate Sheet Cake
Sift together or mix:
2 cups flour ;2 cups sugar ;;
1/2 tsp. salt; 1 tsp. soda ;
Heat to boiling:
2 cups margarine; 3 Tbsp. cocoa ;
1 cup water ;
Pour hot mixture over dry ingredients and mix.
Add:
1 /2 cup buttermilk or sour cream;
1 tsp. vanilla ;2 eggs ;
Mix well and bake in large cookie sheet.
Icing: Heat to boiling:
1 cube margarine ;
5 Tbsp. milk ;2 Tbsp. cocoa ;
Remove from heat and add:
1 box powdered sugar ;
1/2 cup chopped nuts ;1 tsp. vanilla ;
After cake is removed from oven pour frosting on
 and smooth while both are still hot.
Quick and very good.

 boiled with 1/2 cup cocoa .
Mix all very well and then bake in 9 x 13 inch
 greased and floured cake pan. Bake at 350
degrees F. for 35-40 minutes or until done.

Tunnel of Fudge Chocolate Cake
and there is no other name to describe it..
3 cups butter; 1 1/2 cup sugar;
6 large eggs; 2 cups flour ;
1 can prepared creamy chocolate frosting ;
2 cups chopped fine nuts ;
Beat eggs into butter, one at a time.
Then beat in sugar. Stir in flour and icing.
Stir in nuts.
Bake in greased and floured non-stick Bundt pan
 at 350 degrees F. for 60 mins. Let cool 1 hour.
Work loose carefully. Do not cook until done as
 it will be gooey in the middle as that is your
icing and now the cake filling.
