Frypan chilli n' creamed veges First of all you must have a large see- thru frypan . pref glass lid. add into the pan the following : 1/2 can chilli beans .[with any sauce in can ]. 1 spring onion diced . 1 courgette sliced in chunks . 3 or more potatoes . sliced lengthwise in quarters . 1 whole onion sliced roughly in rounds . 1 cup of pre cooked mashy pumpkin. 1 cup of water . 1 large dob of N.Z.Butter . 1 tsp rock salt . 1 tsp. herb stock mix. any leftover N.Z. lite cream . up to 1/3 bottle Mix well and let simmer until all are cooked thru . when cooked mix around with wooden spoon and add any meat if you wish at this point . otherwise heat n' serve N' eat .! 'pumpkin' will act as a sauce with the chilli , herb stock mix and cream .
For a meatier dish ----- When adding the meat . make sure it is in small pieces and cook thoroughly . with a lttle added water to mixture of chilli and the creamed veges . test with a skewer , so that no blood is running from it . try a small piece . if ready mix well into the rest of chilli then serve .
