Low Cholestrol -Low Fat Chili INGREDIENTS: 1 (10 ounce) package frozen BOCA Meatless Smoked Sausage  4 cups water  1 (15.5 ounce) can great Northern beans, drained, rinsed  1 (14.5 ounce) can stewed tomatoes  1 medium onion, chopped  2 stalks celery, sliced  2 medium carrots, sliced  1/2 cup quick-cooking barley 1 tsp.red crushed chili.   2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce  1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves  Hot pepper sauce (optional)  DIRECTIONS: CUT sausage into 1/4-inch-thick slices.  PLACE sausage and all remaining ingredients except hot pepper  sauce in Dutch oven or large saucepan. Bring to boil; cover.  REDUCE heat to medium-low; simmer 15 minutes or until  vegetables are tender. Season to taste with hot pepper sauce.  Great Substitute: Substitute cannellini beans for great Northern beans. How To Easily Slice Sausage: Slice sausage while still partially frozen. Remove sausage from  freezer about 10 minutes before slicing or thaw slightly in  microwave before slicing.
