Low-Fat Cod Steaks with Mushroom Sauce
4 codfish steaks
2 cups lite evaporated milk
3 Tablespoons flour
1/4 pound mushrooms, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1/3 cup water
1/8 cup fat free broth
1/8 cup butter buds
pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350 F. Place steaks in nonstick baking dish 
 and set aside. In blender, combine milk and flour; 
mix on high for 1 minute and set aside. In nonstick skillet 
 over high heat, saute mushrooms and onion in water and 
 broth for 5 minutes or until tender; 
stirring occasionally. Add butter buds and milk to onion
mixture. Stir in flour mixture slowly and bring to boil; 
stirring constantly. Remove from heat and pour over cod. 
 Sprinkle with pepper and paprika. 
Bake for 30 minutes or until fish is tender. 
Serve hot. Makes 4 servings.
