Good Morning Everyone.. Coffee is ready! Help Yourself! BOY! You are gonna need some time to get to work this morning IF you live in my area, Toronto, Ontario, Canada! The fog started rolling in about 6 last night & it is white out there! Folk on the radio are saying to really give yourself more time to be sure to get where you want to go, on time & in one piece! It also rained very hard last night...started about 8-8:30 and is still trying to now as well. I took the umbrella this morning, when I walked "The Ladies",(my dogs)...mainly to keep the falling water from the trees of myself. Noticed too that tree that had all their leaves yesterday...are "naked" this morning! How fast things change, eh? Yesterday was an okay day...went off without me losing my voice from yelling at my helper!...(I own/operate my own housecleaning business! Have done so for about 17 years)....lol...had to send them back a couple of times to re-do stuff but we were still home by five and had actually worked 7 hours! Today I work by myself...tomorrow I have a helper ...again! What are you doing today? Anything "special"? Only heard one birthday this morning and not much of that! Carol/CSW/cas Nutty Zucchini | Metric | Ingredient | Imperial | 50 ml | walnuts, chopped | 1/4 cup | 15 ml | olive oil | 1 tbsp | 15 ml | butter | 1 tbsp | 1 | medium zucchini, thickly sliced | 1 | - | pinch ground nutmeg | - | - | salt & pepper to taste | - | | Place medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add walnuts and toast for 1 to 2 minutes, shaking pan frequently. Remove walnuts to cool. Add oil and butter to skillet. Add zucchini, season with nutmeg, salt and pepper. Cook until tender, tossing occasionally, for 6 to 7 minutes. Add walnuts to zucchini and serve. Serves 2 | |
