Coffee is ready! Help yourself!

Well I will try again this morning, to get my G.M. out!

Lets' hope that msn or my 'putor has had their fill for today and won't eat this one!

I only had 1 call yesterday and it was north of Toronto so on my way back into the city I made a detour!

I stopped to see one of my members, from one of my groups, bessiemarie!

We visited for a little over an hour and then I was on my way again, in the rain!

Came home and sorted 7 piles of clothes including bedding and did laundry for the rest of the afternoon!

Finally crashed around 11:00 p.m.

I see at the front of my building and also at the front of our "sister building", the landscaping has places 2 bales of straw, 1 bundle of corn stalks, & 5 pumpkins,(in varying sizes)...looks pretty BUT I am wondering how long it will be before the  B#$t@%D kids will have them either smashed agin the wall, or busted a building window, Or through someones' windsheild, that is parked in visitors parking.

Now that is going on the assumption that these display even stays there until Halloween! There WERE 3 small punkins and 3 large punkins yesterday...this morning as "The Ladies" & I came back from our walk, I noticed there ARE 3 large & "2" small punkins left!

I understand that they want to make things look nice & pretty BUT this is not the '50's when things were safe & we could live with our doors unlocked...Society!....as some would say...."PFFFFFFFFFT"!

Have 2 places today....

The usual "crap"....lol

What are you going to do today?

I noticed this morning that the windows of the vehicles sitting outside, were sorta "fogged"....guess the temp. inside is warming than that of the temp. outside!

Is your yard "put to bed" for the Winter?

Just heard that Kevin Kline is 60 today

And the "former drummer" for the Beatles, Bill Whyman(sp) is 71!

Do ya feel old?....(I even remember him!....lol)

I will add here too....that we should take a minute and say a prayer for those in the area of southern California, that are affected by that horrible fire.

What a terrible thing to have to experience.

((((((((((God Be With Them))))))))))

OKay...not gonna push my luck with this post today...so gonna say....

Have a great day & I may see ya'll after work.

On a bus trip Wednesday  [up the Taupo Rd. from Napier. ]but I did have a great day high up in the ranges walking thru the "Trellinoe Gardens " seeing all the 'rare rhodos, 'some of them are only in New Zealand  -nowhere else in the world .so thats really special to see them . amongst them were camellias , azaleas, orchids ,roses ,magnolias, hostas.   oh ,so many bushes I couldnt keep count of them . also  to hear the native birds singing too. but with all the walking I've got sore calf muscles today -well we were going up and down steps and up and down hills too , I dont know how long that took but was really enjoyable in the hot sun. and we didn't do it all either . I think another 30 acres to go ........! so now I have done more walking around town 7a.m.-8a.m. to the local shops [1hr][on another hot day] and I walked again 9am -10a.m.to see my mum who wasnt well. [1hr]and home from town between 2p.m.& 4pm  [another 2 hrs there ] 4 hrs altogether.so trying to walk off the soreness. but on such a beautiful day who could resist walking ?
Annie.
