Tossing in the cooffee first this morning! I feel it is gonna be that type of day!!!! Sooooo help yourself to some & lets' get this day started, okay? Yesterday started out bad....spilled the "last three mouthfuls" in the cup, of my one and only coffee of the day...all over my keyboard!!!! Grabbed the keyboard and turned it upside down immediately....but I was too late...the damage was already done! Don't know how it happened BUT it even took my "psc" out ! So the result was....I didn't get to post in all the places I usually do in the morning. The upside was tho....when I got to hook up this set, I called the trouble line for logitech, I got a very nice young man...from Arizona....he talked me all the way through the set-up.....(over an hour on their nickle)!.....we had some issues....'cause I couldn't find the driver cd....BUT we did it! The mouse seems a bit "stiff" but I guess it'll work out....? Yesterday work was troublesome too...morning call was fine...she was home tho...and that did hinder me somewhat...'cause everytime her phone rang I had to stop...It worked out too...I was only 1/2 hour over.... She has 2 cats....One is a siamese(Sam) and the other is a tabby-type(Max). Max has some "toilet issues"! He has decided for about 2 years now...to pee at the front door, on the ceramic tile floor. She always swears she has "broke him of it"....well yesterday I walked through the front door ,(I have a key)....and there he was...all humped up in the corner....with "Water Running free....."! I hollared she came running and made a "token swipe" at the dang cat. I woulda tossed him out the front door!!!!!! She then went and got a pail and water and a scrub brush and washed the entrance area floor! I don't understand it...two cats. 2 litter boxes...he is the "second child",(Sam was there first...then they got Max)...she has taken him to the vet...Vet says he is "sound".......so who knows BUT yesterday I suggested she try some of the "new-type" cat litters....I woulda thought she would of thought of that BUT...whatever! I have been telling her I could smell cat pee....BUT she has been saying she don't know from where....'cause the cats use the litter boxes....NOT! I went to the afternoon place where I was supposed to paint....BUT couldn't paint...'cause it was too cold...so we sat and chatted and drank coffee for an hour...then I came home and tried to get this keyboard up and running. Will have to squeeze the painting in somewhere. Apparently the weather has thrown a fit overnight....north of Toronto in the Barrie area...has snow, the roads are all treacherous...and there are accidents all over the place. We had another Royal Canadian Mounted Policeman shot yesterday. He was JUST 20 years old. Had only been on the job for 6 months! He was answering a call for a drunk driver...when he stopped the vehicle..the driver exited his car and shot the young Mountie! We as lay-abiding citizens...need to kick the back-sides of our politicians for stiffer penalties....now that we have DNA...(& the fact that this "shooter" turned himself in and admitted to the shooting!!!!!!) His family is from the Brockville area, of Ontario. Prayers go out to them in their time of grief. Well I have told ya all my news & even added a tad of a "rant"....lol. I say now..... Have a great day! Bundle up! Walk & Drive with caution. We want to see you back here tomorrow! Take care. Carol/CSW/cas Creamy Chocolate Cookie Pie - Crust Ingredients:
