Hello!

Coffee Is ready!

Help yourself!

Wet here in Toronto this morning!, with a tad of "fog" tossed in to make the drive to work interesting.....

And the dew worms are still coming out of the ground!!!!!

Someone should tell them they most probably should be heading the other direction!!!!

Also heard them saying we can expect around 5 cm of wet snow by Thursday,....for those of us that still "speak English"....that is in the area of 2 & 1/2 inches!(remember that from knittiny cuff lengths on sweaters!...lol)

Guess we can be grateful...it could be 10 cm!!!!!!!

I slept in this morning...hate when that happens, don't you...?

I will feel like I am running all day to catch up to myself!!!

Have 2 places to clean today...a big one with 2 cats and hair all over the place,(the furniture sometimes is bad)...and the second place....is quite a bit easier, except that when I vaccum,...I have to make sure there are "no wheel tracks"!!!(we all have our "quirks"...that's hers...lol!)

Yesterday went well.....breezed through all 3 places, stopped for a few groceries and we were still home and dogs walked, by 4:26 p.m.!

dh didn't miss a second of his "Y&R"!

Heard a weird thing on the news yesterday....

A 14 year old boy from Ajax,(place about 30 minutes East of where I live), apparently went out last week and purchased a Mazda car, hid the fact from his parents....then  he returned to the Islamic Private School he attended north of Ajax, picked up 2 of his friends and "hit the road" for a drive.

They didn't get far...maximum 1 mile down the road,& he was trying to pass a car, lost control, went through a fence after hitting about 5 big boulders along the side of the road, rolled the car maybe 3-4 times....

End result....his 2 Buddies are in the ground already as is Islamic ritual for buriel and he is charged with 2 counts of vehicler(sp) manslaughter!!!!!

What the hell is the matter with this World?

One thing I realized...is that regardless of what Country your "roots" are from....teenagers are still teenagers & the heartache of 3 sets of parents will be no less heart wrenching!!!

Needless deaths........

On that sad note....I will wish everyone a great day....&

Tell ya to hug your kids & grandkids...'cause ya just "never know".....

Take care......

This fresh cranberry sauce-salsa mixture is greater than the sum of its parts. Not only can it accompany a Southwestern-style roast turkey dinner, but it can also be a salsa for chicken fajitas, a chutney-like side dish for roast pork, or a relish to stir into white rice for a side dish.

Cranberry, Orange and Apricot Salsa

3 cups cranberries, chopped
1/2 cup honey
2 oranges, peeled, pithed and chopped
1 medium red onion, peeled and grated
1/2 cup chopped dried apricot
1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 jalapeño, seeded and chopped (see note)
2 tablespoons lime juice
  1. Combine cranberries and honey in a large bowl. Fold in oranges, onion, dried apricots, cilantro, jalapeño and lime juice.
  2. Chill for 2 hours.

Makes 12 servings.

Nutritional facts not available.

Cook's Note: Because hot peppers contain oils that can burn your eyes, lips and skin, protect yourself when working working with peppers by covering one or both hands with plastic gloves or bags. Be sure to wash your hands thoroughly before touching your eyes or face.

how on earth did he get away with hiding the fact that he bought
a car? and worse to follow.. are there not things in place to make sure that he wasn't underage or something similar so he couldnt buy a car .
I feel for those parents no matter what race or creed that they follow ,they are still humans and they have lost the ones nearest and dearest to them.
time for thanksgiving is so close for all
so I wish you all a

happy thanksgiving
