Get Outta Bed Sleepyheads! Coffee is ready! Help Yourself! Soooooo? How is everyone this morning? Yep! I'm home again....people cancelled late yesterday afternoon....! Poooooop happens, right? What are you going to do today? I tried to stay in bed BUT woke up about the usual time 4:20 a.m. and tossed and turned until 6...then decided to get up. IF I had stayed there any longer...I woulda wasted the time sleeping that I was in bed..was just winding myself up again...by laying in bed and not resting!......(well it made sense to me!!!!!) I have some prezzies to finish wrapping for the swaps I am in....and then I think it will be a "me" day! What is your weather like? The Sun is trying very hard to come out.....there is some breeze....think the temp is hovering around....25'f/3'c The ground is white....BUT really it is not a bad day. I wasn't around much yetserday....didn't post any good mornings....sometimes....believe it OR not....I don't feel like saying anything! I had one place to clean BUT before I did that...I had to go and interview a new client....we start there this coming Wednesday! Nice house...all wood floors..(except for basement)..a breeze to do and clean, so very, very clean!!!!! All newly renovated...lovely home. just have 1/2 day to fill now..... Carol/CSW/cas After Thanksgiving Turkey Croissant Sandwich (OR Any Day) - 1 bakery fresh croissant, split
- 3 slices roast turkey
1/2 cup prepared stuffing Softened butter or mayonnaise to taste 2 tablespoons cranberry sauce (whole or jellied) Red leaf lettuce (or other leafy lettuce), washed and dried - Spread the inside of the split croissant with softened butter or mayonnaise.
- Heat the turkey and stuffing in the microwave on HIGH for 30 seconds, if desired.
- Layer half of croissant with hot turkey and stuffing, cranberry sauce and lettuce, and top with the other half of croissant.
- Serve immediately.
Makes 1 serving. Recipe can be increased as required. Tip: This recipe is works just as well with deli roast turkey.
