I'm home today! Gonna do laundry in about 1/2 hour! as well as a few more cards to address.
Todays' work cancelled via e-mail last night....after I went to bed...didn't see it until this morning!!!!!!
Too late to see...too early this a.m. to call and squeeze someone in!
DRATS!
Oh well...better enjoy the time...'cause I ain't gonna have much spare ...'tween now and about the 13th. of January! That's when all the parties and whoopla ends...on the cleaning front!

It is quite cool here.
When I took the dogs out this a.m.....we also walked to a mail box...so I could mail my first 55 cards,....and GEEEEEEESH!...I was dang near frizzzzzzzzzzz'd by the time we got back.
I was dressed well....OR so I thought....layered well and warm boots, mitts,scarf, hat & hood as well....and many layers of "Blubber"....lol
The Sun is shining now....and it actually looks quite pretty!
Okay...enough blithering.......better get on with it!

Orange Chocolate Truffles

Prep Time: 15 min, plus chilling time Servings: about 5 dozen Adding some finely grated orange zest really intensifies the flavour in these easy truffles. What You'll Need
1 can (300 mL) Regular Eagle Brand® sweetened condensed milk | 16 squares (1 oz/28g each) semi-sweet chocolate | 1 tbsp (15 mL) pure orange extract, or to taste | ½ tsp (2.5 mL) finely grated orange zest (optional) | | Optional Coatings: finely chopped roasted hazelnuts/filberts or other nuts, unsweetened cocoa powder, green decorating sugar, icing sugar or ½ cup/125 mL unsweetened cocoa powder mixed with 2 tbsp/30 mL icing sugar. What's Next
1. | Combine sweetened condensed milk and chocolate in heavy bottom saucepan over low heat, stirring continuously until chocolate is melted. | 2. | Remove from heat and stir in orange extract (and zest, if using). Chill until firm enough to handle, about 2-3 hours. | 3. | Shape into 1-inch (2.5 cm) balls (a melon baller is helpful). Roll in any of the coatings, and place on parchment lined cookie sheet.
