It's becoming  more like autumn now .
Leaves are turning shades of gold and rust. and plenty of them
coming from the park opposite .
Still coping with the aspects of finance due to my daughters health .
but yesterday we talked on the phone . Never, ever, say "miracles dont happen ".She sounded like she knew her limitations and said so but was
able to help me with some of her personal finances .
Just got to wait till after easter and govt depts are open. and getting me
to her place to get papers etc.....
wish me luck ,as her flat has been re arranged so it's going to be a big search I think.
Hope that all of of my net friends had a good Easter ..
Saturday:I went to a birthday bbq for 3 people -2 in one family and the other was the kids uncle . so made myself very busy with peeling and preparing everything ..in sight !!!...  plenty of food too ,I worked on the bbq as well .12 pm to 9 pm then home . to my bed.
A lot of food had been left over ,as I went back there after church on Easter Sunday, and helped again  to get picnic food for 6 kids and 3 adults+.. ? [unsure as numbers seemed to increase. ] but this time I got
my finger jammed in the van door while trying to put a bbq in the back of the van. Weather stayed quite good for us  and I spent a while walking in the park gardens .No volleyball for me this time .but then it turned cold and later I went home with another couple and that was my Easter Sunday.

Today I got a lovely lot of grapes from my neighbour . -the last of the pick for him ... so that was a bonus and a pleasant meal for me . baked fish and mini herbed potatoes in seafood sauce .and lemon juice .
well the day is nearly over for another Easter Monday  and I have on purpose spent it quietly .

God bless all of you who do believe in our Dear Lord and
I wish you the best for the rest of the year -
no floods or famines and
no power cuts or utilities breaking down either .
and for those who were touched by tornadoes I hope that another
does not come this year .
Perhaps a tall order for us ,
but if you believe hard enough it will happen with God's help .

M

hi CanadianShe_ Wolf .  how's Toronto . and the ice . ?
Autumn is coming here in New Zealand , as the leaves are dropping slowly.
Over here it is really like an indian summer with some real hot days  but temps are milder than usual. about 22oC - 25 oC.
It is the southerly /eastern winds that keep it cooler  in the afternoon.
hope that your walks have not landed you on your rear end so to speak.
icy ground is no good to anyone .
love Annie. .

Am still wearing summer clothes . thin ones at that !

Hows your daughter doing?  It sounds like you've had your hands full.
