for all the ski bunnies around the world. this is Whakapapa - the nearest ski field to me . Turoa Ski Field Turoa Skifield opens for the winter season in June.
Turoa is the highest skifield in New Zealand, with 9 lifts giving access to 500 hectares of terrain. The longest run is 4km, and there are 3 off-piste routes for the dedicated adventurers. Turoa also boasts Australasia's longest vertical at 722m.
The Terrain Park will be back again this year, with help from some hot talent from the US and Europe.

Hi Annie! Thanks for the weather update. I am actually at my home in the Chicago area right now and have been for about 6 weeks. I will be heading back to Missouri probably this weekend. |
