I have been to the Dr again this past Monday -
which was the result of the Monday before . and Thursday before that; which is the side effects of medication from asthma attack and painkillers for congestion, .now on new meds [again]to counteract the past weeks effects .
now struggling thru this weeks new meds. thought I was a bit lethargic before but now am so tired .
am in line for scan on my arm as its not getting better & can't straighten it without pain, so patiently waiting in line .
to get that done .
another scan due in mid September for another ailment I never knew I had .
boy I feel like I am getting nowhere fast except to the dr's office .!
have had to take a taxi there but I do walk home . and
all for the sake of moving a new microwave onto my bench and the old one off. ! on last Friday in June ............

Annie .

Hi there Ladies!
I have been "off" the 'puter since my last post to you --- otherwise I would have posted an answer to your posts before this --- sorry for the delay.
Of course you may e-mail me anytime Muriel - I love hearing from you!
I have some great news --- last week I had Lasik surgery performed on my eyes.  One eye is now 20/20 but the left eye will need another proceedure - it's not quite right yet.
The proceedure does not "hurt" but it is weird to go through and I'd prefer not to have to repeat it but if it hasn't gotten better by the 20th of this month this will do it again.  I don't have to wear glasses or contacts to watch tv or work on the 'puter - big improvement to be sure!
Angelbear hope you are keeping well and it's always a pleasure to hear from you :)
Big hugs,
Linda ?/DIV>

hi sox . glad to hear from you even if its one eye , still our sight is so precious to us isn't it .
and if we don't take care of it we will have none .
I am glad that you are getting to that stage of getting the other done too .
not knowing what was going on in your life was a worry but my thoughts have been with you .
and I pray that you regain all of your sight .
and I will take care of me . well there's no one else to.
I am overdue at the optometrists myself .
so hoping that I will be able to get new lens for my glasses.
with these new energy savings bulbs it is not good for the eyes and some people are complaining .
I thought it was just me but it's not . lots are saying that they can't see as well as before.
posting at 11..03 pm Friday ,Annie

Hi everyone,
Annie checkin in today on a great sunshiny Monday  here in New Zealand .
One of the few loveliest places that has great sun and wine and oh, lots of other stuff.
My daughter Cavkate says, that we had early widespread fog here around 7 am -
covered the whole of our fair city too. that's a rare thing to happen to us as the fog
lifted on the outskirts of our city /countryside .!
So have a good day everyone .
and a better week .  God bless .

.

september roll call .
well I never knew I had so many loyal members  you can count them on one hand .
well its spring time over here and its also daylight savings time as of today.
we all put our clocks 1 hr forward so we all lost 1 hrs sleep
oh happy days .
we have had some very unseasonal weather too .
snow in the south island and so bad that they had to close Queenstown[south island ski resort] down
[that is all the snow lifts etc.and fields]
wind gusts had been dangerous too another reason for closing them.
temperatures are dropping here at the moment so expect a chilly night
but maybe a great sunny day to look forward to .
blossoms are coming out on the trees too, lovely pink and white  looks heavenly
and school holidays are here again . 2 weeks of kids not at school !
and a party being held each night next door to me .
that's a first !
Annie [ manager]

 Crispy-coated fish fillets:
 that are baked, not fried.
To add a tangy tartar sauce, whisk together fat-free mayonnaise and pickle relish.
Ingredients
1 serving olive oil cooking spray
 (5 one-second sprays per serving),
or enough to coat pan and fish
1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs, Italian-style
1 1/4 pound lingcod fillet(s), four 5 oz pieces
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
4 medium mixed-grain hamburger roll(s)
8 piece lettuce
1 small tomato(es), sliced
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400ºF. Coat a large baking sheet with
 olive oil cooking spray.
Place bread crumbs in a shallow dish. Coat both sides
of each cod fillet with mustard and then turn fish in
bread crumbs to coat. Arrange fillets on baking sheet
and spray surface with cooking spray. Bake until fish
is fork-tender and coating is golden brown, about 20
minutes.
Place fish on rolls and top each with 2 lettuce leaves
and 1/4 of tomato slices.

Eat well my friends . these are yummy  and don't cost much either.
